Vector Magic is a great online tool when you to smooth out an image and you don't need or have Adobe Illustrator to do it. The process only takes a few minutes at most to go through the handy guide. I have used it on our actual Marketeers logo and the result was beautiful. This is especially handy if all you have on file is a small jpeg and you need to size the image up for a poster.
